The cultural event NDSM Get Lost is getting a new look! From 2024, four parties at the shipyard will join forces on one Thursday evening for an artistic program. During this evening, both visitors and residents can discover what the NDSM has to offer in the cultural field, ranging from exhibitions, performances, and lectures to workshops, live music, and more.

Are you curious? Then come along to the Summer Edition on July 25th at Nieuw Dakota, Beautiful Distress House, Stichting NDSM-werf, and Treehouse NDSM.

Ship of Fools: Madness, Art & Recovery is a workshop by Mitchel Breed, inspired by Hieronymus Bosch. Participants share experiences, insights and create collages, reflecting on how societal systems affect our mental health. In this way, we follow in Bosch’s footsteps, depicting the collective madness of our society.


Nieuw Dakota presents the exhibition (+ Supplementary Fee) by ThordurHans Baldursson. The exhibition offers a critical perspective on the challengesfaced by artists and cultural institutions. Nieuw Dakota organizes a guidedtour along the various artworks that provide visitors with an ultimateexperience by inserting a coin.

Stichting NDSM wherf guides you through three works that are now on display at NDSM. The tour starts at NDSM Lusthof, an architectural garden by Studio Ossidiana. The tour then goes to Pavlopetri, an installation with sound by Siba Sahabi. The tour of the colorful work (Leave) Space for Space by the English Morag Myerscough. A spoken word event (free of charge) will start here at 8:30 PM, put together by Mahat Arab.

- Treehouse NDSM

Pop-up Exhibition: We are presenting the first edition of a nomadic platform for exhibitions within Treehouse NDSM. Each month, a different project in a different empty space. For this first edition, our outside display window will show “Doolhoofd” by resident Eveline Alders. Eveline's 'doolhoofd' will give a perspective of how to find your way in your own personal labyrinth. The visitors are invited to find out whether it helps them find calm or loose the way. The artist will present her works during the guided tour for NDSM Get Lost.
