Pianist, composer and teacher Manuel Wouthuysen is an active jazz and classical pianist. Keyboard player with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra conducted by Anton Goudsmit. Keyboardist with the Kika Sprangers Quintet, with whom he also has a regular piano/saxophone duo. From 2011 to 2016 he studied at the Utrecht Conservatory. Initially majoring in jazz, later also majoring in classical music. During this period he was taught by Boy Edgar prize winner Bert van den Brink and Liszt competition winner Martyn van den Hoek.
