Marta Golka is a Polish bass player and composer active mainly in jazz-related genres. She leads a progressive fusion collective Josef Kowalsky whose debut EP "Flares" came out in October 2023. Next to that, she writes songs for her singer-songwriter project ata sama and explores the possibilities of electric bass as a pseudo-classical instrument. Even though stylistically different, all her projects oscillate around the topic of alienation, communication noise and the homelessness of the soul in today's overstimulating world.
