ABOUT
On Saturday, September 20th, from 12:00 to 13:00, Brogen Berwick and Lana Bolkvadze will host a listening session with their fountain Sonic Sounds as part of the exhibition 'Art Park III: Into the Water'.
This artwork registers noise pollution — a problem that often goes unnoticed by humans but has a major negative impact on marine life. Using hydrophones, or underwater microphones, they record sounds from the environment. During this workshop, they will capture the sounds of the IJ.
Participation in the listening session costs €5.
ABOUT ART PARK III: INTO THE WATER:
In Art Park III: INTO THE WATER, 11 Dutch and international artists explore what it means to live and work in a city surrounded by water. The exhibition brings together a diverse range of works that reflect on our changing relationship with water and reveal how it shapes our future. The exhibition is curated by artist Esther Kin and Mulan Go, artistic coordinator at Treehouse.
