Studio RAVA, founded by Damla Aygun, explores communication beyond words through touch, feeling, and experience. Working with clay, she captures moments where language fades—childhood memories, silent gestures, and movements in nature. Using the 16th-century Korean Buncheong technique, she creates both functional and sculptural works. With a background in engineering and in regenerative finance and innovation, her practice is grounded in material knowledge and experimentation. She is currently exploring natural substances such as rocks and ashes.
