XA4 creates experimental acoustic/electronic music with minimal and impressionist influences. He performs in major concert halls in the Netherlands such as the Melkweg, The Royal Concertgebouw, Carré and abroad including a tour organised by the Prinses Christina Foundation in Denmark. His composition “Ascent” was reworked for piano/vibraphone and electronics, and got over 100.000 streams on Spotify. XA4 has won numerous awards, including first prize in the national piano competition SJMN. He also composes for film, including the music for “Buitenkampers” which won the Crystal film prize.
