Buurtverbinders tussen Tuindorp-Oostzaan ende voormalige NDSM-werf (Buurtbudget project)
Kook-collectief Tuindorp Deli-cious en kunstenaars broedplaats Treehouse NDSM hebben vorig jaar een buurtbudget-project voorgesteld om de historische verbinding tussen de NDSM-werf en de bewoners van Tuindorp-Oostzaan te heractiveren. Dit project heeft uiteindelijk zoveel stemmen gekregen van bewoners dat het uitgevoerd mag gaan worden!
In dit project werken kunstenaars samen met de bewoners aan kunstprojecten, om de buurt mooier en leuker te maken. Alle resultaten worden tentoongesteld in de buurt, vergezeld van lekker eten van Tuindorp Deli-cious!
DE PROJECTEN:
Kunstenares Judith Segers uit Treehouse NDSM heeft samen met buurtbewoners een onderwaterwereld afgebeeld op de dichtgetimmerde, voormalige viswinkel aan het Zonneplein. De verschillende vissen staan voor de diversiteit aan meningen over de buurt die buurtbewoners haar eerder mochten sturen.

Schilder Marius nodigt alle buurtbewoners uit om hun herinneringen aan de NDSM-werf te delen. Dat mogen herinneringen zijn aan de werf van toen, maar ook van nu. Marius geeft gratis teken- en schilderworkshops om samen deze verhalen te verbeelden op papier, om deze zo tentoon te stellen. Deze workshops zijn niet alleen om kunst te maken, maar ook om elkaar te kunnen ontmoeten en samen een heerlijke lunch te hebben! Hiervoor kun je je nog aanmelden, iedereen is welkom.
Voor het buurtbudget project ‘Verbinding Tuindorp-Oostzaan met de NDSM-werf’ maakt illustrator Rachelle samen met de bewoners een plattegrond van Tuindorp-Oostzaan tot aan de NDSM-werf. Rachelle werkt in Treehouse NDSM en woont in Tuindorp Oostzaan. Zij maakt een plattegrond van de wijk door en voor bewoners. Zij roept alle bewoners op om haar te laten weten welk plek volgens jou echt op de plattegrond zou moeten!
Stuur haar de plek en zet erbij waarom die plek volgens jou op de plattegrond moet. Wie weet komt jouw liefste, mooiste, belangrijkste, fijnste plek in Tuindorp Oostzaan ook op de plattegrond!
Muzikant Nina Rompa wil samen met oude en nieuwe Tuindorpers werken aan een lied dat Tuindorp-Oostzaan en NDSM verbindt. Iedereen is welkom voor 3 bijeenkomsten op de 2e, 3e en 4e woensdag van september om samen te eten en het lied in te studeren. Samen zingen zorgt niet alleen voor ontspanning en verbinding met je buurtgenoten, het is ook ontzettend leuk! Het lied zal uitgevoerd worden tijdens de eindpresentatie van alle Treehouse projecten, op een buurtfeest op zaterdag 30 september!

Neighborhood connectors between Tuindorp-Oostzaan and the former NDSM wharf (Neighborhood budget project)
The cooking collective Tuindorp Deli-cious and Treehouse NDSM proposed a neighbourhood budget project last year to re-activate the historical connection between the NDSM wharf and the residents of Tuindorp-Oostzaan. We are delighted to announce that our proposal received the most votes from locals and it is being implemented!
For this project, some of Treehouse NDSM’s artists will work with residents on 4 different cultural initiatives to make the neighbourhood more beautiful and fun. The results from these sub-projects will be later displayed in the area during a Neighbourhood Celebration (Buurtfeest) with music and tasty food from Tuindorp Delicious!
THE SUB-PROJECTS:
Together with local residents, visual artist Judith Segers has depicted an underwater world over the panels of the former fish shop located at Zonneplein. The different fish represent the diversity of opinions that local residents have about the neighbourhood, which were previously shared with her.

Painter Marius van Zandwijk invites all local residents to share their memories of the NDSM wharf. These may be memories of the yard from long ago, but also fresher memories. Marius will give free drawing and painting workshops so that they can portray these memories. These meetings will also be an opportunity for locals to meet each other and have a delicious lunch together! The resulting paintings will be part of a small exhibition. Materials are provided and drawing or painting experience is not necessary.
For the neighbourhood budget project 'Connecting Tuindorp-Oostzaan with the NDSM Wharf', illustrator Rachelle Meyer and the residents will make a map from Tuindorp-Oostzaan to the NDSM Wharf. Rachelle has a studio at Treehouse NDSM and lives in Tuindorp-Oostzaan. She will make a map of the neighbourhood by and for residents. For this, she calls on all locals to let her know which place they think needs to be in it!
Send her your chosen place and include a short explanation of why you think that place should be on the map. Who knows, your dearest, most beautiful, most important, nicest place in Tuindorp-Oostzaan will also be on the map!
Musician Nina Rompa wants to work with old and new Tuindorpers on a song that connects Tuindorp-Oostzaan and NDSM. Everyone is welcome for 3 meetings on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of September, in which you will enjoy a nice meal and learn a song together. The song will be performed by all the participants during a final presentation of entire project.
