Come by and enjoy an intimate live performance by groovy Amsterdam-based band RADIOHOP and talented Helena Casella. 

Helena Casella is a vocalist with a multicultural background. She emerged from a very musical family into a broader artistic environment exploring various musical genres, such as R&B, soul, hiphop, jazz and many more. Helena combines these profound passions while staying close to the homely, colorful sounds of her Brazilian roots. With a soft yet warm depth in her voice she incorporates these major influences in her own way, creating an atmosphere that can either be sincerely intimate or genuinely compelling.

Exploring beats and pocket through hip-hop, funk, soul and jazz. RADIOHOP is an uprising band based in Amsterdam. While studying Jazz together at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam the four boys connected quickly through jamming Dilla Beats and D’Angelo songs, which served as a great diversification to studying the jazz tradition. Getting coached by the award-winning jazz singer José James they got a better vision towards their own sound and their own compositions. Currently they are pushing towards a bigger Amsterdam instrumental groove scene, to create a space for beat- and groove-lovers.
