Discover the art of drag and experimental makeup as a powerful tool for self-expression. In this workshop, we invite you to explore your inner monster, the hidden part of yourself: colorful, wild, authentic, strange, beautiful, and sometimes in contradiction, carrying your secrets and your strength.

We use the eyes as a canvas, a place to reveal a detail or a glimpse of what lives inside us, because through the eyes we often express what words cannot. Through color, shape, and transformation, we bring that inner world to the surface.

Let's bring our authentic selves onto our skin and celebrate them with pride together in a safe space.

No previous makeup experience is required. Feel free to bring your own makeup, materials, and brushes to give it your personal touch.

Maria Escarpenter (Spain, 1999) is a multidisciplinary artist and performer based in Amsterdam. Their work explores identity, gender, and belonging through performance, storytelling, and visual transformation. Using makeup as a tool for self-discovery, Maria navigates the space between genders and connects with their truest self. Their practice embraces the “inner monster” as a symbol of the parts of ourselves that are often hidden, misunderstood, or rejected, transforming them into sources of strength, expression, and connection.
