A creative space to repair ceramics with gold.
Kintsugi (golden joinery) is a practice where we delicately mend broken pieces of ceramic with a touch of gold. This workshop invites you to slow down, reconnect with your treasured objects, and transform them.
Bring along a broken ceramic object or choose from a selection of pre-loved pieces for repair.
Please note:
Items broken into many small pieces will be difficult to repair. If you have something in mind and want to check if it can be repaired, please send Lorena an email with a photo of your piece lorenapritchardart@gmail.com. Please handle any sharp edges with care!
Resin used in this workshop for ceramic pieces is decorative and not safe for food use. Could your plate hang in your kitchen as a piece of art? Could your cup become your new favourite pen pot?
