Drummer Aurel Violas leads a drum workshop in which participants are introduced to the basics of drumming and learn how to respond more freely through improvisation. This workshop will be conducted in two phases. First, all participants will be taught the basics of drumming, and will directly apply them to a musical context. Each of them will get the opportunity to play one of the two drumkits at their disposal, accompanied by the workshop host on guitar. Sticks are provided. The second phase will rely more on the group's mutual listening and intuition. With the help of diverse percussion instruments and drum elements, we will collectively improvise soundscapes inspiredby the works and the symbolic content of the exhibition.
