ABOUT XICO
Xico is an improviser and sound artist based in Amsterdam in a search for the melting point between harmonious and disruptive soundscapes. In his live-sets, he actively explores field recordings, acoustic piano, feedback systems and generative sound design. This sounds are often presented through DIY spatial sound setups that use transducers and amplifiers to project sound through physical objects and the space. By focusing on the physicality of sound, he invites audiences to experience sound as a shared, living field rather than a consumable product.
