Working primarily with silver, brass, and copper, Cristina creates organic jewelry that investigates the relationship between nature, memory, and transformation. Over the past four years, her practice has evolved into a deep exploration of the natural world, guided by the raw forms, intricate patterns, and inherent resilience found in the environment.
Each piece is intentionally handcrafted to embrace fluidity and imperfection, allowing the unique characteristics of the metals to shine. By manipulating these elements, Cristina transforms rigid materials into wearable sculptures that honor the elegance of the changing earth and evoke a sense of personal history for the wearer.
