6th EDITION | “Nature is greater than us” by resident Bruna Souza

Influenced by the profound consequences that natural disasters, climate change, and human impact has on our planet, Nature is Greater Than Us is an experimental art research project investigating and responding to people’s personal stories who have been recently affected by environmental destruction in disasters around the world. The work will unfold in the pop-up space over the course of a few months, inviting artists and the public to engage with the multimedia work as it develops.

6th EDITION | “Nature is greater than us” by resident Bruna Souza

About Bruna Souza

Coming from a mixed Brazilian and Dutch background, my work is heavily influenced by identity, globalisation, and hybrid cultures. I'm also interested in existential and psychological explorations; I'm curious how my own world view differs from the perspectives of others, how we can understand each other, where and how our identities take root from, and how this manifests in the way we live our lives and interact with others. Through mixed media, each project I undertake explores a different material or method: video, photography, sculpture, illustration, or multi-media installation.
