This unique workshop is both relaxing and playful, offering an accessible way to explore colour, movement, and self-expression. In this special edition, we will work with Pride colours, using the marbling technique on silk to create vibrant, expressive compositions together.

Marbling is an aqueous surface design technique that allows you to paint on water, creating flowing patterns similar to natural stone, waves, or organic textures. Historically used for book covers and decorative papers, it offers a rich and intuitive creative experience.

In this workshop, participants will work collaboratively around a large tray of water, playing with colour, movement, and composition in a shared creative space. The focus is on expression, experimentation, and connection—letting colours blend, resist, and transform on the surface of the water before being transferred onto silk.

The session begins with a short demonstration (approx. 5 minutes), after which participants can experiment freely together in smaller groups.

Using Pride-inspired colours, participants can create abstract or symbolic designs, guided by intuition and gentle instruction. Each participant will contribute to collaborative silk prints, resulting in unique textile works made together as a group.

All materials are handmade in the studio using natural, chemical-free ingredients.
