ABOUT WEN CHIN FU

Wen Chin Fu is a Taiwanese artist based in the Netherlands, deeply engaged in The Hague's dynamic art scene. Her work explores the intersection of performance art, sound, and technology. Wen Chin is known for her innovative projects, including the creation of the sugar instrument, which embodies her fascination with the ephemeral and the relationship between humans and materials. With a background as a classically trained musician, Wen Chin Fu has developed a deep awareness of the intricate relationship between the sounds produced by instruments and the responses of audiences. This sensitivity has informed her artistic journey, particularly during her studies in ArtScience and Muziektheater, where she began to expand her creative practice beyond traditional performance. By incorporating sound and movement, she explores innovative ways to create connections between people and their environments, emphasizing the beauty and impermanence of fleeting moments in daily life.
